Sensing Precision is proud to announce that it has partnered with MEP Hire, and have recently supplied the Glasgow based hire company, the first batch of 110V ALF 150 Duct Leakage Testers for its hire fleet of pressure testing machines. These units will be used for duct work commissioning on new build projects all over London and the UK as a whole, helping building engineers and on site duct work commissioners ensure that all new ductwork installations pass the required air leakage standards.
On the partnership with MEP Hire, Sensing Precision Operations Director Andrew Hamshere said; “We are really pleased to have been able to provide MEP with our duct leakage tester, the ALF 150. Ductwork commissioning is critical to a buildings’ performance and overall health, and the buildings sector is making big strides towards making new and existing buildings as energy efficient and as healthy as possible. Our leakage tester was entirely developed, and is made right here in the UK at our factory in Buckinghamshire. So, to be able to provide UK made and engineered test equipment is a real privilege and we look forward to our continued partnership with MEP Hire.”
MEP Hire now operate the largest fleet of ALF 150 hire units in the UK, and recently completed a case study with Imperial Ductwork, who used the ALF 150 on site at the Royal Albert Dock in London during a recent commissioning project.
