PATON 350 Leakage Tester
The PATON 350 Leakage Tester is designed to allow an engineer to test the leakage rate of a vehicles’ cabin. It is the mid-range machine in terms of performance and is ideal for NVH leakage testing of cars and small vans.
The PATON 350 Leakage Tester is designed to allow an engineer to test the leakage rate of a vehicles cabin. This works by pressurizing and depressurizing the vehicle under test to a specified pressure, and measuring the air volume flow generated to produce a leakage rate, or equivalent body hole size.
The PATON 350 is the mid range leakage tester that has been designed to meet 90% of NVH leakage testing requirements. It is equipped with a fan that is capable of achieving 350 l/s of airflow, and static pressures in excess of ±2500 Pa. The PATON 350 is also a primary measuring device using a set of precision machined conical inlet nozzles to provide impressive accuracy across the entire flow range down to 1 l/s. The PATON 350 is available with Windows control, an air heater and a smoke machine as standard. This provides the user with the ability to not only quantify the cabins ability to seal but also identify areas requiring further improvement. optional attenuators can also be supplied to provide a comfortable and safe working environment without the need for hearing protection, even at full flow.
