Project Engineer, special applications of airflow measurement devices

Working closely with clients to deliver optimal precision measurement solutions for their project.  Responsible for the Quotation, Design and delivery of the range of stock, configurable standard and fully bespoke products offered by Sensing Precision to the Building Services, (M&E Consultants and Contractors), Process Measurement, Automotive, Aerospace ground testing and other key markets.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Competent in mechanical design with strong appreciation of fluid dynamics, able to Create Cad Drawings for manufacturing as well as customer approval.
• Conversant with Microsoft Office software.
• Amiable personality able to build trust and relationships quickly with leader’s, peers and subordinates internally and externally, while maintaining a persuasive negotiating style to close sales.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written English Language skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction.

Other Advantageous Skills/Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering related discipline. (ideally Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering etc.)
• Previous experience in Built Environment/Building Services or Process engineering projects beneficial.
• A self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude highly motivated to excel in the role.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise actions and follow-ups.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing own diary and working closely with colleagues.

This is a new role is to strengthen the existing team and to underpin our aggressive growth strategy. The role is envisaged as office based with limited travel as required.
